Understanding Meters and Centimeters

The meter (m) is the SI base unit of length, defined as the distance light travels in vacuum in \(\frac{1}{299,792,458}\) seconds. It is used worldwide for scientific, engineering, and everyday measurements such as building dimensions, road lengths, and sports tracks.
